Northern Ireland strikes – Damp Sqiub? In a way your right

The Bullingdon clubs’ head boy David Cameron has called todays union demonstrations a damp squib. He is citing attendee figures but distracting from the real reason it could be called so and that is because it is perhaps focusing only on a single symptom, not the cause .

If we are to take Mayer Amschel Rothchild’s quote “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes her laws,” as our base for the banking problems facing us today then todays strike action is a bit like turkeys complaining about what they are getting for christmas.

That’s not to take away from the fact that some action is better than no action and people getting on the streets is a small step forward - better than none at all.

I personally would push for continuous strike action over this issue as it helps snap people out of their programming and might eventually lead to something more substantial.

I think unions should start demanding the following:

-An audit of the Bank of England and all other lenders IMF,ECB ect. - there is a lot of speculation on the fact that the BOEN are the Bank of England’s secret owners and this could lead to the people behind todays financial problems. A publically owned bank should not ask the public for interest on the money it prints for them.

-Charge all receipients of bailout money of fraud - George Osborne claimed a few months ago that the banks acted like a ponzi scheme. Fair enough then, let’s charge them so like Bernard Maddof who is in jail for the next 150 years.

Who is Nigel Farage?

Nigel Farage is the leader of the political party known as the United Kingdom Independence Party, and is also an elected Member of the European Parliament for the South East Counties of England.

Known for his coherent, concise, and often humorous speeches, the former City of London employee has garnered a good reputation for exposing the truth about the incompetent and deluded technocrats of Brussels.

In a recent outburst, Mr Farage openly stated that the commission “should be sacked”, and has often been fined by the commission for the wording in his speeches.

I personally received many emails regarding Nigel’s recent thought-provoking tirade, and I’m sure that many people –myself included – enjoy watching someone tell the delusional self-appointed dictators of Brussels to shove their policies up-their-ass.

However, unlike many that have perhaps never encountered Farage, I’ve often been suspicious of the man’s motivation and intent. I therefore responded to my emails and Chris Duane’s blog post with the simple question: Is Farage a shill?

Please note that this is a question and not an answer. In other words I’m not saying that Nigel is a shill; I am merely raising the possibility.

The responses I received to my question were quite amusing to say the least. The best was written by a man who’s earned my respect over the past few weeks; the founder and co-ordinator of the grass-roots movement known as ‘tgl’. Peter’s response to my question was:

“No doubt Farage hankers after his youth while watching that world fall apart {the hedge-fund industry}…it’s his heritage and he has to handle it his way; at least he bothers and plays the game!..in my view, it would be both naive and hypocritical to expect impartiality from any politician.”

I agree with Peter up-to-a-certain-point, but as the European Union has never been popular in England, and the resentment towards it grows exponentially, I believe that although Farage ‘bothers to play the game’, his ‘playing’ could prove to a problem in the people’s escape from usury.

I agree with those that state, “The City of London must be closed-down, and the practice of usury outlawed in this land.

Another man that has earned my respect over the past eight-or-so months is Chris Duane. In one of his articles Chris advises people to be wary of pied-pipers.

Climategate scientists DID collude with government officials to hide research that didn’t fit their apocalyptic global warming

5,000 leaked emails reveal scientists deleted evidence that cast doubt on claims climate change was man-made
Experts were under orders from US and UK officials to come up with a ‘strong message’
Critics claim: ‘The stink of intellectual corruption is overpowering’
Scientist asks, ‘What if they find that climate change is a natural fluctuation? They’ll kill us all’

More than 5,000 documents have been leaked online purporting to be the correspondence of climate scientists at the University of East Anglia who were previously accused of ‘massaging’ evidence of man-made climate change.

Following on from the original ‘climategate’ emails of 2009, the new package appears to show systematic suppression of evidence, and even publication of reports that scientists knew to to be based on flawed approaches.

And not only do the emails paint a picture of scientists manipulating data, government employees at the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) are also implicated.

One message appeared to show a member of Defra staff telling colleagues working on climate science to give the government a ‘strong message’.

The emails paint a clear picture of scientists selectively using data, and colluding with politicians to misuse scientific information.

DAVID CAMERON: WE’LL NEVER HOLD A REFERENDUM ON THE EU

DAVID Cameron ruled out ever holding a referendum on EU membership today.

The Prime Minister defied calls from Conservative eurosceptics who want a swift vote on the UK’s relationship with the EU.

During Prime Minister’s Questions, Mr Cameron, who met with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy this afternoon, insisted there was “no case” for a vote.

Mr Cameron said: “I want us to be influential in Europe about the things that matter to our national interest – promoting the single market, pushing forward for growth, making sure we get lower energy prices.

“Those are things we will be fighting for but I don’t see the case for an in out referendum on Europe.

“We are in Europe, we have got to make it work for us.”

His comments will infuriate thousands of Britons, including Daily Express readers, who have called for a referendum on Britain’s ties with Europe.

The news comes as a group made up from around 80 new intake Conservative MPs plan to press the Government for significant changes in Britain’s role in Europe.

Green energy reforms will put us all in debt, says Sammy Wilson

Obsession with green policy will put us all in the red according to the Stormont Finance Minister.

Sammy Wilson’s comments come after the White Paper on Energy policy was published by the Government on Tuesday.

Mr Wilson said: “This government is obsessed with its pursuit of a ‘low carbon energy policy’ to the extent that it has closed its eyes to the economic consequences which will impact on every individual in the UK.

“Its aim of 20% of electricity produced from renewable sources by 2020 and reducing CO2 emissions by 80% by 2050 is impossible to meet without imposing billions of pounds of additional costs on electricity users.”

Mr Wilson said the policy will require back-up power stations using fossil fuels, subsidies of at least 100% per unit of electricity produced by wind turbines and £110bn of spending on building wind turbines and the new transmission infrastructure to link them into the grid.

“The money for most of this will come from higher electricity bills or taxpayers. No wonder the wind industry is rubbing its hands in glee at the prospect of such a windfall for its private investors,” the DUP man said.

The Finance Minister said the effect will be a increase in the price of electricity bills and further fuel poverty.

New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism

NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth’s atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.

Austerity does not work

Both Yanis and Richard argue that government austerity at a time when the private sector is in a debt crisis is counterproductive. If the private sector is reducing its expenditure by deleveraging, then the same behavior by a government intent on “balancing the budget” will amplify the depressing impact of reduced private expenditure, thus deepening the crisis. Unfortunately this is precisely what the EU proposals for the PIGS are likely to do. Richard’s historically based analysis predicts that these austerity measures will deepen the crisis, and quite possibly result in increased rather than reduced government deficits, on the experience of Japan.

Yanis’s alternative Modest Proposal is to effectively have the European Central Bank behave as a true Central Bank. At present the ECB acts more like a financial disciplinarian than a Central Bank, since the only debt it directly funds is that of the EU itself–which is at the trivial level of about 1% of European GDP–while it imposes strict standards on how much public debt member states can carry on their own books (no more than 60% of their GDP) and how fast that debt can grow (budget deficits cannot exceed 3% of GDP). Member states are responsible for issuing and financing any debt they issue themselves.

In practice, these standards have been imposed very laxly, but in the current crisis they are being imposed with a vengeance on the PIGS, with Greece the country most in the firing line right now. Since it is almost universally acknowledged that Greece can’t meet these terms, the cost of Greek debt has blown out dramatically–further guaranteeing that it will fail to meet the conditions of the EU “bailout”–which of course is a means of paying Greek’s creditors, rather than Greece itself.

Green ‘stealth tax to encourage wind farms and nuclear power will hit poor the hardest’

A green ‘stealth’ tax to encourage new wind farms and nuclear power plants could push tens of thousands of households into fuel poverty but do nothing to reduce emissions.

The carbon floor price, announced in the March Budget, could even end up giving climate policies a ‘bad name’, the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) has warned.

To be introduced in 2013, the tax is intended to encourage investment in low-carbon energy – and raise billions for the Treasury.

Under the existing rules, energy companies must generate a fixed amount of green energy every year, or else buy permits to pollute on the open market.

The new tax kicks in if the cost of these permits falls too low. From 2013, the ‘floor price’ of a permit needed to emit a tonne of carbon will be set at £16, rising to £30 by 2020.

The higher cost of electricity will be passed on to household and business customers with energy-guzzling industries hit hardest.

The way to decrease the debt is to INCREASE our wages
